# New Thursday Morning Class

The dojo is adding a new class on a new day to the schedule: beginning Thursday, January 18th, 2024, a new **7:30AM Adult General Class** will debut.

This is both the first new class on a Thursday and the first early morning class added to the schedule since 2015, and the hope is that it gives students an opportunity, once a week, to train early in the morning before work and the rest of the day begins.

Another unique aspect of the class is that it will be taught by senior blackbelts rather than Sensei. The class is a General Class, with an emphasis on *ippon* *kumite*, self-defense, partner work, and kata.

In addition, on Thursdays, the dojo will open at 7:15AM to accommodate this new class.
