The official design for the 2025 NYC Karatedō International Championship Tournament T-shirt has been released. This is the second year that the t-shirt design is co-sponsored by both Goju Karate and the NYC Karatedō International Championship, and was developed by the Dojo. ![](https://storage.ghost.io/c/eb/9e/eb9ebba1-1832-4ab5-9b46-96567d9f3273/content/images/2025/11/2025-nyc-karated---tshirt-1.jpg) NYC Karatedō International Championship 2025 Official Tournament T-Shirt Every year, the dojo designs and produces a limited edition t-shirt that is only available to competitors and tournament officials and volunteers. **The design is never re-printed**, and **never re-used**, and is **only available to competitors**. Tournament t-shirts are never offered for sale. ### Ren Ma This year's design honors the concept of [**ren ma**, constant improvement](https://www.gojukarate.com/ren-ma-constant-polishing/), as its main motif. It celebrates the commitment that all competitors at the tournament showed to improving themselves and refining their karatedō. The kanji for the t-shirt was specially rendered in ink, and then scanned and colored with a bold red gradient. In addition to the striking kanji, the high-quality shirt also features the tag line "Better, Always." And for those who didn't compete this year, one copy of the t-shirt will be on display – be sure to check it out later in November, where it'll be displayed right next to designs from previous years!
