# Tuesdays in August

As we move into the slowest part of the Summer season, the NYC dojo will be closed on Tuesdays in August. Given the small number of students on Tuesday during the Summer, it simply isn't practical to staff classes, and those resources are better spent during the rest of the week.

However, Adults who are part of any **Jishu** (self-study) group that is led by senior blackbelts can still participate in Jishu from 6PM to 9PM on any remaining summer Tuesday.

The Tuesday schedule will return in September.
