The Goju Karate Annual Blackbelt Dinner moves to The San Pietro Restaurant for the 2026 edition
The 2026 edition of the Annual Blackbelt Dinner will be held on Saturday, September 19th, at 7PM.
This year, blackbelts will be celebrating at a new venue: The San Pietro Restaurant at 18 East 54th Street (just a block away from last year's dinner).
A New Tradition
The Annual Blackbelt Dinner has been held at a number of locations: Daikanyama, Estiatorio Milos, and for the past several years, at Cellini Restaurant.
All of these have been great locations, but, in a happy development, we've outgrown the private dining room at Cellini Restaurant.
San Pietro's private dining room can accommodate up to forty guests, and that should be perfect for the Annual Dinner for a number of years.
Tickets for Blackbelts
New blackbelts (i.e., candidates currently in Selection) are invited as special guests of Sensei and all the dojo's blackbelts.
Existing blackbelts are asked to help defray the cost of the dinner by purchasing tickets, which can be done at the dojo or online.
