The dojo is excited to celebrate the Christmas and New Year's Holidays as 2025 draws to a close and we prepare for an amazing 2026.
This year will go down in our dojo's history as one of incredible progress and accomplishment! What an amazing year 2025 has been!
Much Accomplishment and Progress
This was the year the NYC Karatedō International Championship was hosted by our dojo and expanded to two days, and included a wide range of events for both adults and kids. Thanks to the hard work and support of our wonderful dojo community, the tournament was a grand success and delivered so many memories for everyone involved.
This year also saw a wide range of events, seminars, and rank tests, four new adult blackbelts and one new shonen shodan from our Teens division, and the introduction of new livestream classes and the expansion of our Mentor program to feature a Wednesday class as well as the regular Saturday morning class.
And most importantly, our students literally circled the globe in classes held on the dojo floor and via livestream worldwide.
This year has brought our dojo so much to celebrate.
Holiday Schedule
As 2025 winds-down, Sensei, all the instructors and assistant instructors, the front desk staff, and all Goju blackbelts wish you and your family the most magical of holidays and share their hopes for an even more successful 2026.
This year, the Dojo will be closed from Thursday, December 18th, 2025, to Saturday, January 3rd, 2026. No classes, including livestream classes, will be held on those days. While there will be a regular schedule on Wednesday, December 17th, no 8PM Meditation Class will be held.
Regular class schedules will resume on Monday, January 5th, 2026.
