As part of the 15th Anniversary of the founding of Goju Karate, the dojo will hold a special combined class on Monday, November 9th. Adults and Kids (all divisions) are invited to train and celebrate together.
On Monday, November 9th, the dojo will offer a special combined class at 6:15PM in celebration of the Fifteenth Anniversary of the founding of Goju Karate.
(The regularly scheduled 6PM Adults General Class will have a delayed start to 6:15PM).
The class is one of the best way to celebrate an amazing fifteen years of karatedō and will feature a brief special presentation by Sensei.
Combined Class: Adults and Kids
The 15th Anniversary General Class will be open to all students: Adults and Kids (including Kids in all divisions: Juniors, Youth, Teens, and Mentor divisions).
The 45-minute class will focus on kihon (basics) and is available to all ranks. However, at the beginning of the class, Sensei will make brief remarks and introduce a new feature on the dojo floor.
Blackbelts will also lead small segments during the class, and assist in helping with different division students training.
Kata Class at 7PM
The regular Monday 7PM Adult Kata class will be held at its usual time (for Adult students, all ranks, only).
LiveCast Broadcast
This class will be available via LiveCast, as the regularly-schedule Monday 6PM Most Goju blackbelts will be on the dojo floor, in New York City, for this event, but for those blackbelts who are unable to be present in person, or are based in other parts of the world, the event will be LiveCast beginning at 2PM ET.
In addition, special provision has been made for blackbelts not present to also participate in the special event beginning at 2:30PM ET.
