A special event for blackbelts celebrating the 15th Anniversary of the founding of the Goju Karate dojo will be held on November 8th, 2026.
Fifteen years to the day, Goju Karate blackbelts will gather for a special presentation and event on November 8th, 2026.
The special Fifteen Anniversary Celebration will begin at 2PM this Sunday, and is an exclusive event for blackbelts only. (A dojo-wide special event 15th Anniversary Class will be held the next day, at 6:15PM on Monday, November 9th.)
Fifteen Years to the Day, and the Hour
Celebrating the very first class at the Goju Karate dojo in Mill Valley, California, which was held at 2:30PM on November 8th, 2011, blackbelts will come together at almost the exact time that the very first students of the dojo gathered for that first general class.
At 2:30PM, the dojo will hold a special unveiling to mark the exact time at which that first class began, honoring fifteen years and more than a thousand students who have built the amazing community (our kizuna) that is our dojo.
LiveCast Broadcast
Most Goju blackbelts will be on the dojo floor, in New York City, for this event, but for those blackbelts who are unable to be present in person, or are based in other parts of the world, the event will be LiveCast beginning at 2PM ET.
In addition, special provision has been made for blackbelts not present to also participate in the special event beginning at 2:30PM ET.
