We often highlight important tournaments and events in the world of karatedō – and one of those is coming up in New Jersey later this month.
The Garden State Championships will be held on Sunday, February 15th, 2026 at the Georgian Court University in Lakewood, New Jersey. The event is organized by a good friend of the dojo, Sensei David Rosenberg of Monmouth Karate and will attract a wide range of competitors from all over the United States.
The event features kata, kumite, and kobudo events for both kids and adults. Spectators are also invited (tickets are available at the door for $10, with kids under four years of age admitted at no cost).
