Gasshuku is the dojo's summer break and generally occurs in August of every year.
Gasshuku, the traditional Summer holiday observed by dojo throughout the world begins on Friday, August 21st, 2020, and continues to Monday, August 24th, 2020. No classes will be held, and the dojo will be closed for most events, during that time.
Regular classes resume on Wednesday, August 26th, 2020.
No Special Training Camps in 2020
There will be no training camps or seminars held during Gasshuku this year because of its relatively short duration. In the past, some years have featured group workouts (including several outside the dojo) and special seminars on a variety of topics.
Instead, the focus on this year’s Gasshuku is to prepare for the upcoming Fall training period.
