Nature is a fundamental part of our being as humans. Our connection to nature, can become frayed: we're greatly helped by improving that connection. Simultaneously, having a true and accurate picture of our reality increases the chances of meeting our goals and fulfilling our purpose in life.
Musubime o kaimei — Unravel the Knot 結び目を解明
Our lives are populated with tangled knots. Unraveling them means organizing our environment, as well as gaining an understanding of how the people and things in our lives fit together and are related to one another.
Ryu — Flowing Water 流
The imagery of flowing water has long been a central one in martial arts. It describes how the schools of martial arts preserve their identity and yet evolve; and it also prescribes for us an attitude of constant improvement and continually moving forward, despite obstacles in our lives.
