Make plans to attend the second part of a ground-breaking seminar on the history and origins of karatedō.
The long-anticipated second part of The History of Karatedō is this FRIDAY, April 26, 2024, from 6:15PM to 8PM.
The dojo will open at 5:30PM for those attending the Seminar. Livecast invitations will be sent at approximately 6PM ET (18:00 hours/GMT-4 Timezone).
To accommodate the seminar and seminar setup, the following class schedule changes have been announced:

We’ll cover the post-war origins of martial arts, the influences of various disciplines on the development of karatedō, and the evolution of modern karatedō from the 1950s to Present Day.
The seminar is free for all Goju Karate students. All adults (all ranks) and all Teen students (8th Kyu and above; lower teen ranks permitted with permission of Sensei as well) are invited to attend.
Please note: parents of students in the Juniors, Youth, Teens, and Mentor divisions are invited to attend as well.
For students not in New York City, the Seminar will also be broadcast via Livecast, and the video will be available on GOJUKARATE.COM at a later date for Goju Karate students.
